John has worked as a graphic designer for over 20 years. In the early eighties, he collaborated on Teleguide (a videotex project for the San Francisco Chronicle) designing interactive digital pages for transmission to public information video kiosks located throughout the Bay Area.
In 1986, he opened a graphic design studio and became
an early adopter of computers for creative work. John
has designed brochures, catalogs, corporate identities,
direct mailers, CD packaging, newsletters, and websites
for clients including Oracle, Sun Microsystems, Intel,
IBM, Media 100, IDG, and McDonalds.

Chip
has worked in high tech publishing for 15 years. Initially
“A+” magazine's Technical Editor, he then
setup “MacUser” magazine’s Testing Lab.
In 1989, Chip started “Macworld” magazine’s
Testing Lab. Briefly he worked at Sumeria, where he produced
a CD-ROM, “Space”,
from original NASA films.
Starting in 1993, he traveled worldwide for the Macworld
Global Product Support Center demonstrating the system
he setup to electronically distribute articles and graphics
to sister publications. From 1995 to 1997, he worked as
Webmaster on the inaugural team for “Macworld Online”;
maintaining the webserver, listserver, reports, backups,
and network monitoring.
